![]() ![]() Go for pierce damage, dex and whatever you want for survability. An even split of skill points at low level, is the worst possible option for most of the classes. Current favourite is haruspex (Dream/Hunter) I much prefer getting one mastery to high level before investing a lot of skill points in the 2nd. Make the game much easier than with many classes. not Nature or Spirit) and high on movement speed. The hunting tree will be for your damage, the dream one mostly to survive. When you have enough, start dumping in the dream tree. You basically rush through the marskmanship tree ASAP, upgrading volley to the max. Marksmanship NEED to replace your basic attack (right click on the sword, put marksmanship instead). Marksmanship is low priority to max, on the opposite volley is awesome, so are marksmanship upgrades. Usually brigand or dream (but then dream can go with everything, even nerfed IMO).Īim for this kind of stuff. Also, you are less squishy than a caster. You can always run out of the nasty situation, the DPS is fairly high, and you can avoid AOE easy since you are not in melee range. Feel free to ask more questions.I'd suggest bow hunter-something. farm desired items like prowlers stuff or stoinebinders cuff to get high resistance and stuff. And then if you are tanky enough you can keep the trance or if not, swap to the healing trance. in epic in greece and egypt you can still run xmax pretty much. Be careful in act 5, trolls in xmax do much bleeding dmg. Caster type mainly focus on int and elemental damage while phys type mainly focus on str and dex build. The caster type and the physical dmg dealer type. You should be so overleveled that you have zero to no chance of dieing. When the game came out, it only have 8 classes. After changang and in act 4 you have to hit some enemies but not all. Now you can put xmax on and run through the rest of greece and egypt + asia (till changang) without hitting anything and your trance will kill them. and with level 16 you put all points into trance of wrath. You just level up your dream mastery in the beginning. My go to would be the templar and I´ll explain you why. You surely can finish legendary with 0 deaths with every character, but a strong melee should be the easiest. I dunno, I like the answer of SLK the rest is pretty meh imho. There are also many builds with high survivability, that don´t involve Defense, like Warfare+Nature as petmancer, Dream+Hunting or Hunting+Nature. The Lich King is really strong.ĭefense+Rune is also tanky, Runeword Absorb increases the usefullness of shields further and Sacred Rage lets you take less damage and attack faster, if your health drops. Death Ward is a real live saver and the Deathchill Aura tree significantly weakens anything in melee range. I haven´t played it yet, but I made other Spirit+something melee characters. ![]() And Dream has Lucid Dream.ĭefense+Nature has not as much direct damage, but summons, buffs and debuffs.ĭefense+Spirit looks promising. Warfare+Defense has good damage output, but you shouldn´t go spear with it, axe or club would be better.įor high defense with spear and shield Defense+Hunting would be a good choice, Hunting has a skill that improves your attack speed and defense while using a spear as well as some nice buffs and debuffs.ĭefense+Dream is also strong, each of the trances is usefull in its own way. ![]() For the first no death playthrough a physical toon or a petmancer are probably better, than a mage or a hybrid. Some classes have hight survivability, while others are more squishy. There is no best class for a no death playthrough.
